ADC Ferozepur today handed over the report of the Punjab Pollution Control Board in which it has cancelled the no objection certificate(NOC) given to the distillery on the grounds of the pollution of sub soil water.
The ADC handed over this report to the agitators after they held a meeting with all kissan jathebandis(farm union leaders) today.
The meeting took place in village Mahian wala Kalan at village Gurdwara Sahib, as per the press release of the morcha.
But the protesters demanded that the government must issue the notification to close the distillery, Malboras international as the chief minister Punjab had already declared its closure in his video recorded message.
The protesters said that the agitation will continue until the government issues the notification in this regard and cancels the FIRs registered against the protesting people.
