The Mehat Pur police have arrested a local resident on the charge of selling illicit liquor.
The investigating officer Davindar Singh said 9 bottles of hooch were seized from the possession of the accused identified as Kamaljit Singh alias Sura a resident of Mohalla Talab Wala, Mehat Pur
A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
