The Jaitu police of Faridkot district have booked two persons for brewing and selling illicit liquor.
The accused,Kulraj Singh and Sher Singh, are residents of village Kasam Bhatti of Faridkot district under Jaitu sub division.
The police conducted a raid on the tip of an informer and recovered 7 bottles from the possession of Kulraj Singh and 5 from Sher Singh.
A case was registered under sections 61/1/14 of excise act at police station Jaitu on the complaint of ASI Iqbal Singh.
The crime being a bailable offence, both the accused were granted bail and released by the police.
