The Shahkot police have arrested a thief on the charges of attempting to murder, firing, and stealing tractors
The Station House Officer G.S.Nagra said that the accused has been identified as Arash Deep son of Billa a resident of Mohalla Ravi Dass Pura Phllaur .
Gursharan Singh a resident of Fajal Pur village has complained to the police that the accused and his accomplices barged into his cold store on Parjian Road on January 28 and stole three tractors and fired at him.
SHO said t a case under sections 307(attempt to murder) 457(house trespass),380 (theft in dwelling house ) of the Indian Penal Code, and sections 25/27/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused and others.
