Two women among six booked for assaulting man

NAKODAR The Nakodar Sadar police have booked six persons including two women on the charge of assaulting a man. The investigating officer (IO) Amarjit Singh said that the accused have been identified as Ranni wife of Mohan Lal,and her son Sharanjit, and Paramkit wife of Mangi and her son Rannit Singh ,Arun and Avtar Singh all residents of Billi Chao village .the same village complained to the police that the accused attacked him ,.his son and nephew with sharp edged weapons and injured them and threatened them . IO said a case under sections 323 and 324(voluntarily causing hurt dangerous weapons) 506(criminal intimidation) 148 and 149 (rioting) of the IPC has been registered against the accused. The Mehat Pur police bokked seven persons for assaulting Harwindar Singh of Baloki village said IO Bhupindar Singh.
