The Bilga police have booked a private school managing director for allegedly raping a woman by blackmailing her.
The Investigating Officer (IO) Baljit Kaur said that the accused has been identified as Tarsem Singh son of Gurmit Singh a resident of Mudhadda village and managing director of a private school situated at Partab Pura village.
The victim complained to the police that the accused forcibly established physical relations with her on a promise of her promotion and repeatedly raped her for four years and even took her to foreign countries by threatening to make it viral on social media her objectionable video clicked secretly.
IO said a case under sections 376(rape) 354-A (sexual harassment and punishment for sexual harassment.) and 506(criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the accused who is absconding, and raids are being conducted to nab him.
