Amritsar: Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) General Secretary Bhai Gurcharan Singh Grewal today held meeting with the employees who are doing guard duty at the complex of Sachkhand Sri Harmandar Sahib and encouraged them to perform their service diligently.
He asked the employees to be alert while performing service in Sri Harmandar Sahib. He said that due to the increasing influx of Sangat at present, the responsibility of the employees who perform guard duty increases even more and at the same time it is equally important to apprise the pilgrims who do not know about the principles and conduct in this era of social media. He said that in view of the changes of time, the sentiments of pilgrims and administrative efficiency should be maintained, so that the the pilgrims carries a good message.
SGPC General Secretary also appreciated the employees and security personnel deputed inside Parkarma (circumambulation) for standing and performing their service with vigilance.
On this occasion, manager of Sri Darbar Sahib Satnam Singh Mangasarai, additional manager Nishan Singh, in-charge Gurvel Singh, a group of invigilators and attendants serving in the Parkarma were present.
