AAP's 7 Months vs. 70 Years campaign is a good example of the proverb "Great boast, Small Roast”

AAP's 7 Months vs. 70 Years campaign is a good example of the proverb "Great boast, Small Roast”

  • AAP (Announcement, Advertisement, and Publicity) Government has become the synonym for over-exaggeration

Chandigarh– Senior Congress Leader and Leader of Opposition, Partap Singh Bajwa, today slammed Aam Aadmi Party for squandering precious taxpayer money with their extravagant spendings during their seven months of chaotic governance. The lofty promises made are proving to be a mere eyewash and a façade to cover their failures.

Bajwa said that this is now a vivid reality that the people of Punjab, who were tricked by AAP’s propaganda, have been through the worst of governance with a string of failures. The Secretariat of the Delhi government of AAP controls the remote & consequently, the fate of the people of Punjab.

The honeymoon period of the government ministers is still on, even when the state’s economy is crumbling, and financial institutions are imploding one after another. Punjab has seen an unprecedented spike in corruption, debts, mafia culture, drug abuse, and poor law and order situation. Bajwa also condemned the Bhagwant Mann government for its failure to check liquor smuggling to the poll-bound state, Gujarat.

Bajwa alleged AAP for blowing the norms by extending power to their MLAs like any other Cabinet Minister.  Bajwa claimed that ministerial homes in Sector 39 have been assigned to many MLAs i.e Baljinder Kaur of Talwandi Sabo, Kulwant Singh of Mohali, and Kuljit Singh Randhawa of Derabassi. He said that Sukh Veer Singh, the chief minister's political secretary, had been awarded a government residence in Sector 7 that was intended for a cabinet member.

LoP said that despite the audio leak, in which AAP Cabinet MInister Fauja Singh Sarari and his close aid were heard discussing plans to extort money, the Mann Government failed to expel the minister.

Bajwa slammed the copy-paste formula of mohalla clinics which has proven to be a big failure as these clinics lack the basic infrastructure, facilities, and doctors to meet the requirements of general patients. Converting old CSC centers into clinics is not a matter of taking any pride.

AAP even takes complete credit for establishing Dr. Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Mullanpur, whose foundation stone was laid by Dr. Manmohan Singh and constructed during the congress tenure.

Lashing out at the Aam Aadmi Party for claiming to provide government jobs to the youths is a massive falsehood, jobs were already given out during previous government tenure only joining letters have been issued to the chosen applicants by AAP.

The idea that the government provided a minimum support price (MSP) for moong is completely false because only 11% of the crop was purchased by the government, while the remaining 89% was sold by struggling farmers to private buyers at a price significantly below the MSP, Bajwa added. The AAP has also betrayed paddy farmers with a promised incentive of Rs. 2500 for straw management. Lately, the home district of CM Bhagwant Mann, Sangrur, witnessed the maximum farm fire incidents.

Bhagwant Mann, like a good disciple, is following the commands of Kejriwal,  whereas their incompetent cabinet has no clue of running the administration. Advertisement campaign 7 months vs 70 years is a mere exaggeration. We welcome if AAP takes pride in their own delivered work.
