JALANDHAR: To enhance the Time-management, Leadership and Writing skills of students, Innocent Hearts group of Institutions organized Skill-Development workshop. Two activities “Resume Preparation” and “Creative Presentations” were conducted in the workshop.
Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Dhanju, while addressing the Resume Preparation activity, captivated the minds of students by focusing on the importance of building up a Resume. She stated that students must have to prepare resume according to the company’s requirement and highlight their skills accordingly. During the session, students learned the difference between a CV, Resume, and Bio data as well as the fundamental requirements, format, and current trends for CV/Resume preparation.
In Creative Presentations activity, Students presented PowerPoint presentations on topics “Latest IT Gadgets”, “Network Topologies” and “Web Tutorial”. This activity was co-ordinated by Assistant Prof. Preeti Sidana.
Group Director Dr. Shailesh Tripathi appreciated the efforts of both students and faculty members. He stated that the need to train students with skills has become more important than ever before to prove their ability on career growth.
