The Mehat Pur police have booked four miscreants on the charge of affray.
Investigating officer (IO) Baljindar Singh said that the accused have been identified as Harjindar Singh and Baljindar Singh and Sukhdev Singh residents of Bangi Wal village and Charanjit Singh a resident of Gounsu Wal village.
Malook Singh, a resident of Gousu Wal village complained to the police that he along with his wife was sitting in his clinic on January 3 evening when the accused reached there and waylaid at a point pistol Sandip Singh a resident of Ludhiana village and his two friends.
The complainant said his wife recorded a video of the accused who threatened him adding that the accused disturbed the peaceful atmosphere of the village.
IO said a case under section under section 194 (2) (affray) 351(2) (criminal intimidation) 126(2) (wrongful restraint) and 3(5) (committing the crime with common intention) of the BNS and section 25/54/59 of the Arms Act has registered against the accused.
