A ten-day camp came to an end at DAV Institute of Engineering and Technology College under the aegis of 2 Punjab NCC Battalion. 350 NCC cadets learned military training, personality development, and leadership mantras. The cadets participated in many competitions and sharpened their skills. Group Commander Brigadier Ajay Tiwari, Sena Medal, also inspected the camp. He told the cadets about time management, self-reliance, and how to live in a camp with team spirit. Camp Commander Colonel Vinod Joshi said that during the camp, they were taught to wake up early, do their daily chores, run, and exercise at six in the morning.
Colonel Joshi said that the cadets were explained the history and importance of drill in the army. The cadets were taught discipline and methods of firing with weapons. In his closing speech, Colonel Joshi inspired the future generation to follow the path of honesty, loyalty and patriotism in life. The Camp Commandant said that in the camp, lectures and demos were held on the subjects like opening and assembling weapons, drill, etc. Guest lectures by many central and state government officials were also arranged. In the closing address, Colonel Joshi told the cadets that change is a part of life. Move forward on the right path with dedication and your discretion. Take society and family forward by being optimistic in life. He appealed to the cadets to work on Skill India and Make in India in the coming years and contribute to nation-building.
