(SUBHEAD) Bathinda: On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda (CUPB) organized an inaugural programme for the commencement of a Mega Plantation Drive at their lush green 500-acre campus situated at Village Ghudda, Dist. Bathinda. Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, the Vice Chancellor, conceptualized this ‘Mega Plantation Drive-2021’ with the objective of planting 10,000 saplings to establish Rose Garden, Jamun Road and develop sites of Triveni and Commercial trees in the university.
