NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a woman drug addict on the charge of consuming heroin.
Station House Officer Jai Pal said the accused had been identified as Neetu wife of Sanjiv Kumar resident of Mohalla Khuram Pur, Mehat Pur town.
A lighter, a silver paper and a pipe used for consuming contraband were recovered from her possession. A case under section 27/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
