The Mehat Pur police have arrested one miscreant and booked two on the charge of snatching cash, a mobile, and a motorcycle.
Investigating Officer (IO) Jaswinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Kulwinder Singh alias Gopi son of Jagdeesh Kumar a resident of Mohalla Tala Wala, Mehat Pur, and his two unidentified accomplices.
Kamaljit Singh, a resident of Muhem village complained to the police that the accused waylaid him on July 24 and snatched Rs 500, a mobile, and a motorcycle (PB-08-8102) at a point of sharp-edged weapon.
IO said a case under section 304(snatching) of the B.N.S has been registered against the accused and further investigations are on.
