JALANDHAR
Additional District Election Officer cum ADC Dr. Amit Mahajan today said that the election campaign for the by-election of the 34 Jalandhar West (S.C.) Assembly constituency will conclude on Monday at 6 PM.
By the guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India, only door-to-door campaigning will be permitted by not more than 4 people in the last 48 hours leading up to the election. Likewise, public meetings will be held with not more than five persons.
He emphasized that all political functionaries and party workers who are not residents of the constituency must leave the assembly segment before 6 PM today, July 8, 2024.
