The Lohian Khas police have arrested five people on the charge of stealing motorcycles.
Investigating Officer (IO)Balwinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Rinku, Sandeep, Rasal Singh, Kalu alias Karan, and Gurpal Singh alias Fauji all residents of Bhikhi Wind town in Taran Tarn district.
IO said that two stolen motorcycles were recovered from the accused. A case under sections 303(2) 317(2) and 345(3) of the BNS (379(theft-411 receiving dishonesty stolen property-IPC) has been registered against the accused.
