NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a woman-son duo on the charge of assaulting a co-villager.
Investigating officer (IO) Rajinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Paramjit Kaur wife of Mangal Singh a resident of Pandori Sekhan village and his son Swaran Singh.
Joginder Singh a resident of the same village had complained to the police that the accused attacked him with weapons and seriously injured him on June 26 evening.
IO said that a case under sections 323,324(voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
