The Cyber Crime Police Station Jalandhar(rural) has booked unidentified persons on the charge of duping a Nakodar villager of Rs 68.03 Lakhs on the pretext of online trading.
Jaskaran Singh a resident of Balkohna village in the Nakodar subdivision complained to the Senior Superintendent of the Police (SSP) Jalandhar (rural) that unidentified persons duped him on Rs 68.03 Lakhs on promise of online trading.
Investigating Officer (IO)Surinder Kumar said SSP ordered an inquiry and registration of a case adding that a case under section 318(4) of the B.N.S. (Bhartiya Nyaya Sahinta ) (420-IPC) (cheating ) . has been registered against the unidentified accused,
