The Nurmahal police have arrested a person for selling illicit country-made liquor. Investigating Officer Jagjit Singh said that 9 bottles of hooch were recovered from the possession of the accused, identified as Gurmej Singh a resident of Mao Sahib village in Phillaur. A case under Sections 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused who was released on bail.
