DIG launches red alert naka's in Jalandhar, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur

In a decisive move to combat drugs, and crimes and enhance public safety, Harmanbir Singh Gill, DIG Jalandhar Range has initiated a large-scale operation red alert Naka’s at multiple strategic locations and hotspots. This operation, which begins on the last day at 06 PM to 08 PM, targets the drug and crime-affected areas across the districts of Jalandhar Rural, Kapurthala, and Hoshiarpur.

 A total of 190 red alert naka’s was strategically placed yesterday evening to maximize their effectiveness in curbing illegal and drug activities, ensuring the safety and security of citizens. These Naka’s were manned by dedicated police personnel who were equipped and prepared to conduct thorough checking. During this operation, two-wheelers and suspicious persons were rigorously checked to prevent any illegal and drug activities.

 The primary objectives of this operation are deterrence of drug trafficking, crimeprevention and enhanced public safety. DIG Range emphasized the importance of communitycooperation and urged residents to support the initiative by reporting any suspicious activities.The police department remains committed to ensuring a safer environment for all citizens and will continue to take stringent actions against those involved in illegal activities.
