The Nurmahal police have arrested a man on the charge of raping his wife living in separation.
Investigating Officer (IO) Amarik Singh said that the accused had been identified as Manjinder Singh Tagarr son of Lashkar Singh a resident of Mohalla Jeeto Di colony, Nurmahal.
IO said a case under section 376-B (sexual intercourse by husband upon his wife during separation) was registered against the accused.
