The Bilga police have arrested a drug peddler on the charge of selling heroin and intoxicant tablets.
Investigating officer (IO)Satpal said that 3 grams of heroin and 90 intoxicant tablets(loose) were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Jatinder Kumar alias Raju son of Tilak Raj a resident of Gana Pind village under Phillaur police station.
IO said that a case under section 21-A/22-B/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused and impounded his motorcycle on which he was traveling with contraband.
The Shahkot police arrested drug peddler Paramjit Singh alias Pamma son of Dhian Singh of Mohalla Bagh Wala Shahkot with 270 intoxicant tablets (loose) said I.O. Buta Ram.
