The Lohian Khas police have booked five persons including a woman on charges of assaulting a woman.
Investigating officer (IO) Avtar Singh said that the accused has been identified as Pipal Singh a resident of Ismail Pur village his wife Manjit Kaur and son Jasvir Singh alias Jassu .
IO said a case under sections 323, (voluntarily causing hurt) 452 (house trees pass), and 148 and 149(rioting) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
