A married woman died after consuming expired medicine.
The investigating officer Ashwani Kumar said that the deceased has been identified as Gurjit Kaur wife of Avtar Singh a resident of Talwann village.
Hardeep Singh told the police that his mother consumed an expired medicine by mistake and died.
IO said the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P,C handed over the body to the family after post-mortem.
