The Shahkot police have arrested two drug peddlers on the charge of selling heroin.
Investigating officer (IO) Surinder Singh said 7 grams of heroin and Rs 41000 drug money were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Rahul son of Ashok Kumar a resident of Mohalla Dhorriyan Shahkot and Midda son of Jaspal Singh a resident of Talwandi Bhai in Feroze Pur district.
IO said a case under sections 21-A/27-A/61/85 of the NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
The Nakodar Sadar police arrested drug peddler Rajveer Singh alias Raja son of Fumann Singh a resident of Rahim Pur village with 104 intoxicant tablets(loose) said the investigating officer, Balvir t Singh.
