JALANDHAR
The Punjab Excise Department Jalandhar on Tuesday searched the Sutlej River bank near Burj, Dhagara, Bhode, and Sangowal villages.
Sunil Gupta ETO and Sarwan Singh Dhillon Excise inspector led the search along with excise police staff. During the raid 5 plastic tirpals (800 litre each), 4 plastic tirpals (500 litre each), and 4 iron drums (200 Liters each) containing a total of approximately 6800 Liters Lahan were recovered. This lahan was destroyed on the spot being unclaimed.
