The Shahkot police have arrested a village resident on charges of endangering a villager's life and personal safety.
Investigating Officer (IO) Sulinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Ravi Singh son of Jaswant Singh a resident of Bhudhann Wal village.

Village had complained to the police that the accused was angry and discussing with his son Krishan Kumar alias Krishan and negligently fired from his double barrel gun on the ground and a pallet of a cartridge pierced his son’s left leg.
IO said a case under section 336(act endangering life or personal safety of others) of The IPC and section 27/54/59 of the Arms Act was registered against the accused.
