The Shahkot police have arrested two miscreants on the charge of stealing potatoes bags from a cold store.
The Investigating Officer (IO) and Malsian police post in-charge Kewal Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gursewak Singh alias Somu son of Janga Singh a resident of Kamal Garh village under Zeera police station Feroze Pur district and Navdeep Singh alias Nandu son of Gurdeep Singh a resident of Pati Shahla Nagar Malsian village.
Vinod Kumar a resident of Bir Pind village under Nakodar Sadar police station complained to the police that the accused had been stealing potato bags stored in Khehra Farm and Cold Store Shahla Nagar Pati, Malsian village for the last fifteen days.
IO said a case under sections 457(lurking house trespass ) 380(theft in dwelling house ) and 34 (committing crime with common intention ) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and further investigations are on.
