NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested three persons on the charges of assault and criminal conspiracy.
Investigating officer (IO) Harwinder Singh said that the accused had been identified as
Sham Das, Soma, and Mukadar all residents of Shahkot Town.
Kawaldeep Singh a resident of Mohalla Model Town colony complained to the police that the accused barged into his cycle shop and assaulted him and his brother. and threatened them.
IO said a case under sections 323(voluntarily causing hurt) 452(house trespass) 506(criminal intimidation) 120-B9criminal conspiracy) and 148 and 149(rioting) of the IPC have been registered against the accused and their two accomplices were arrested earlier.
