A villager resident committed suicide on Monday.
Station House Officer (SHO) Aman Saini said that the deceased has been identified as Navpreet Singh a resident of Sohal Jagir.
Kuldeep Singh a resident of the same village told the police that his Navpreeet Singh consumed some poisonous substance and died. SHO said that the police acting under section 174 of the Cr.P.C. handed over the body to the family after the post-mortem.
