NAKODAR
The Nakodr Sadar police have arrested a villager on the charge of stealing cash from a house.
Investigating Officer (IO) Janak Raj said that the accused has been identified as Pal alias Bhalu so of Amarjit Singh a resident of Khan Pur Dhada village.
Baljit Singh a resident of the same village had complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on May 18 very early morning and stole Rs 10,000 from his almirah.
IO said a case under section 457(lurking house-trespass and 380(theft in dwelling house) of the IPC was registered against the accused.
