The Lohian Khas police have arrested two Feroze Pur district residents on the charge of stealing items from a readymade garments shop.
Investigating Officer (IO) Sukhwinder Singh said that the accused have been identified as Jaswinder Singh alias Jassa son of Malkit Singh and Gurpreet Singh alias Gora son of Surinder Singh residents of Basti Sodhian, Joge Wala village under Makhu police station Feroze Pur district.
Simarjit Kaur a resident of Mohalla Guru Nanak colony ward no. 2 complained to the police that she was present in her ready-made garments shop near a sweatshop in the absence of her husband on June 4 when two accused came on a motorcycle and entered in shop and stole plenty of ready-made garments on the pretext of preference.
IO said a case under sections 454(lurking house trespass) 380(theft in dwelling house) and 34 (committing crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
