The Nurmahal police have booked two persons on charges of assaulting a co-villager.
Investigating officer (IO) Varinder Mohan Singh said the accused had been identified as Jarnail Singh and Jaskaran Singh residents of Sanghe Jagir village.
Buta Ram a resident of the same village complained to the police that the accused barged into his house on June 7 late evening and attacked injured and threatened him.
IO said a case under sections,324, (voluntarily causing hurt with dangerous weapons or means),452(house trespass) 506(criminal intimidation) and 34(committing a crime with the common intention of the IPC has been registered against the accused
