The Lohian Khas police have booked an unidentified driver of a vehicle on the charge of causing death by negligence.
Paramjit Kaur wife of Ravinder Singh a resident of Nawan Pind Khale Wal village complained to the police that her husband was returning home from work on his motorcycle on the June 5 late evening when an unidentified driver of a vehicle who was driving fast and negligently hit Ravinder Singh ‘s motorcycle and killed him.
Investigating officer Major Singh said that a case under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence), 279(rash driving on a public road) and 427(mischief) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against an unidentified driver of a vehicle.
