NAKODAR
The Nakodar Sadar police have arrested a third accused involved in the case of gang-raping a minor.
Investigating officer (IO) Kulwinder Singh said that the accused had been identified as
Hamraj Singh alias Jassu son of Gurpreet Singh a resident of Udho Pur village under Jamsher Sadar police in Jalandhar Commissionerate and is a juvenile.
IO said that a case under sections 376 -D (gang rape) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 6,17, of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act was registered against the accused and his two accomplices are already arrested and raids are being conducted to nab the fourth accused.
