The Lohan Khas police have arrested two thieves with a stolen scooter.
Investigating Officer (IO)Avtar Singh said that the accused had been identified as Gurpreet Singh alias Jhita son of Rachpal Singh and Shubham alias Prince son of Gurmail Singh both residents of Harian village.IO said that police received secret information that the accused were notorious thieves indulging in stealing two-wheelers, tubewell motor starters and wires and are roaming riding on a stolen scooter to commit a crime and were intercepted at a Naka and arrested with s stolen scooter (PB-08-EP2681) and two motorcycles without numbers
IO said a case under sections (379(theft)and 411(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been registered against the accused and their accomplice Kulwant Singh alias Kanti son of Gurdev Singh of Puniyan village who is absconding.
