NURMAHAL
The Nurmahal police have arrested two persons on charge of smuggling liquor.
Investigating Officer (IO) Sanjiv Kumar that 2 cartons of liquor and four loose bottles were recovered from the possession of the accused identified as Rajiv Joshi and Satnam Singh both residents of Sunner Kalan village.
Sarwann Singh Excise Inspector Nurmahal complained to the police that the accused were intercepted at a Naka and recovered from their vehicle two cartons and four loose bottles of liquor.
IO A case under section 61/1/14 of the Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
