The Lohian Khas police have arrested two persons on the charge of brewing and selling illicit country-made liquor.
\ Investigating Officer Avtar Singh said that 25 bottles of hooch were seized from the accused, identified as Mandeep Singh resident of Murid Wal village. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
In another case, the police recovered 6 8 bottles of hooch and 35 kilograms of Lahann (raw liquor) from Ram Lal of Kang Khurd village said IO Balwinder Singh.
