The Mehat Pur police have booked an unidentified person on the charge of kidnapping and confining a married woman.
Baljinder Singh a resident of Mohalla Khurm Pur, Mehat Pur complained to the police that the unidentified person kidnapped his wife ) on March 13 and confined her somewhere.
Investigating Officer Manjinder Singh said a case under section 346(wrongful confinement in secret) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
