Deputy Commissioner cum Returing Officer ,parliamentary constituency Faridkot, (9)Vineet Kumar has sought an explanation from the BJP candidate Hans Raj Hans within 24 hours on the complainant of Sanyukat Kisan Morcha.
The Morcha representatives had on Saturday given a written complainant to the returning Officer that Has Raj had made inflammatory speech hurting the sentiments of the farmers and also tried to create a rift among different communities,which could harm peace.
They had alleged that his words and parts of speech in village Behlewala were unacceptable to them.
The SKM had given an ultimatum to take action againt Hans by May 21.
In case of no action againt him,they said that they would consider further action in Maha panchayat going to be held in Jagraon.
The Returning Officer has immediately issued a show cause notice to Hans for the alleged violation of code of conduct.
Hans,who has been continuously facing the protests by the farmers,had visited the village due to hard protest by the group of a farmer union.
The next day too,he had to cancel his scheduled visit to village Wara Daraka due to the protest by the farmers.
