Three of  in-law’s family booked for abetting suicide.

 

 

 NAKODAR

 The Nakodar City police have booked three members of the in-law’s family on the charge of abetting suicide.

Investigating officer (IO) Dilbag Singh said the accused were identified as Paramjit alias Bittu so of Karam Chand a resident of Wadala village under Lambrra police station, his wife Kamaljit Kaur and daughter Gagandeep Kaur.

Ashok Kumar a resident of Mahun Wal village complained to the police that his son Gurdeep Singh alias Kaka’s (30) marriage was solemnized with Gagandeep Kaur in 2022.

He said that Gagandee went to her parental house after fighting with his son some time ago who along with respected residents went to bring back her wife but the three accused insulted his son repeatedly who felt it very much and became tense.

The complaint said that his son phoned his wife on May 15 but her mother and father used abusive language against Gurdeep Singh and instigated him to die his son who  consumed sulphas tablets and died in a  Jalandhar clinic

 

The IO said a case under Section 306 (abetting suicide) and 34 (committing crime with the common intention) of the IPC has been registered against the accused Kamaljit Kaur and her father and mother. The body of the deceased was handed over to the family after post-mortem.
