NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have arrested a Ludhiana village resident on the charge of stealing a motorcycle.
Investigating officer (IO) Sarabjit Singh said that the accused has been identified as Jasprit Singh alias Jashan son of Baljit Singh a resident of Salaim Pur village under Shida, Bet police station in Ludhiana.
IO said the police had received a piece of information that the accused was a notorious thief coming to Nakodar to sell stolen two bikes and was nabbed at a Naka and recovered from his possession a stolen motorcycle. (PB-08-DK-6452)
IO said a case under sections 379(theft) and 411(receiving stolen property dishonestly) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
