NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have booked unidentified miscreants on charges of stealing cash and other items from a private school.
Ravinder Singh a resident of Gandharan village complained to the police that said that unidentified thieves barged into the school building on 8 May night and stole Rs 27,000, one LCD, and other items.
Investigating Officer Sarabjit Singh said that a case under sections 457(house trespass) 380(theft in dwelling house) and 34 (committing a crime with common intention) of the IPC has been registered against unidentified accused
This is the second incident of theft in a school within a few days which has exposed police claims of special patrolling during the night.
