Interacting with the poll staff at APJ College of Fine Arts, the DEO said that to ensure the seamless accomplishment of this gigantic task of elections, all of us should perform our duties meticulously and diligently so that the entire operation could be completed without any hindrance.

He also emphasized the need that all should be aware in advance of their duty and responsibilities besides being fully aware of the operation of the electronic voting machines as well as taking prompt action in case of any technical snags. During the rehearsal, the election staff was also imparted hands-on training on the EVMs.

Accompanied by the ARO Dr. Jai Inder Singh, Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal said that the administration was duty-bound to facilitate poll staff engaged to carry out this significant duty as elaborate arrangements were already put in place across all polling stations for their convenience.

He highlighted that one of the unique features of this rehearsal was that QR codes were provided to poll staff as they were able to scan these codes to know about the rooms allotted to them to ensure smooth and hassle-free conduct of the entire rehearsal. The poll staff did not have to inquire about the room allotment as they got the information about the entire sitting plan just by scanning this code.
