NAKODAR
The Mehat Pur police have arrested a villager on the charge of selling illicit country-made liquor.
The investigating officer (IO)Harwinder Singh said that the accused has been identified as Gurnam Singh a resident of Ismail Pur village.
IO said that 14 bottles of hooch, were recovered from his possession. A case under section 61/1/14 of the Punjab - Excise Act has been registered against the accused.
