NAKODAR
The Nakodar City police have arrested a woman thief for stealing items from devotees of religious places.
Investigating Officer (IO)Hans Raj said that the accused has been identified as Raman wife of Sanjay Singh a resident of Tappa Mandi in Barnala district.
IO said that the police had received a piece of information that the accused in a notorious thief and had come to Nakodar Dera and was standing at a local bus stop to board a bus after committing a crime and was arrested.
IO said that a case under sections 379(theft) and 4111(dishonestly receiving stolen property) of the IPC has been registered against the accused.
