NAKODAR
The Nakodar city police have arrested a Nakodar resident on the charges of rape, criminal intimidation, and criminal conspiracy.
The investigating officer (IO) Dilbag Singh said that the accused has been identified as Manider Singh son of Harbhajan Singh a resident of Mohalla Rattan Nagar Nakodar.
IO said that a case under sections 376(rape),506(criminal intimidation), and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3,4,5,6 and 17 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act was registered against the accused in August 2022 and others.
