BKU Sidhupur Ekta honours the protesters detained by police

Jagjeet Singh Dallewal,state President of Bharti Kisan Union Sidhupur Ekta honoured the farmers including women and children who had been allegedly detained by the police when they blocked the way of BJP nominee Hans Raj in village Arianwala on Wednesday.
"The central government led by the PM Narindra Modi had almost accepted all demands of the farmers during the farmers protest in Delhi which ran for 13 months and 13 days.The government had given it in writing that the main demands of the farmers would be met shortly and the three disputed farm bills had been repealled.But about over a year,when the SKM (non political)launced an agitation to reach Delhi,the government attacked the peaceful protesters by pelleting tear gas shells with drones,fired bullets and even used pellet guns for stopping them at the borders of Haryana.Many farmers were left injured ,some blined of eyes,one farmer shot dead and another was brutally beaten up braking his limbs.So,we had asked our farmers to protest pracefully againt the BJP nominees,"said Jagjeet Singh Dallewal.
"The police detained our farmers yesterday during such a protest and we have decided to honour them today,"said Bohar Singh Rupian wala,district President of BKU Sidhupur Ekta.
Dallewal said that their union demands from the government that all the demands discussed during the farmers protest should be met.
He also crticised the MLAs of AAP for not protecting the interests of the farmers when they were attacked at the Haryana borders violating the territorial boundry of Punjab.
