Two boys who had unintentionally crossed over to India about 20 months back have been sent back to their home today.
The Lahore based boys Abass Hasan and Jahid Hasan had by mistake crossed over to India and were arrested by the security forces about 20 months back.
They had prayed to the inspecting high court judge NS Shekhwat during his inspecting visit of juvenile home Faridkot.
Both the boys had been acquitted by the court in April 2023 and were awaiting their release to Pakistan.
"The boys had been sent to Attari border earlier too,on March 28 after their orders of release, but the Pakistan authorities had refused to accept them due to some paperwork. They crossed over to India on August 31,2022," said Navjot Kaur, district and sessions judge Faridkot in a press release to the media through the public information department.

Now both of the boys had been handed over to the Pakistan authorities at Wagah border today.
