The Nurmahal police have booked two unidentified looters in charge of snatching cash, and foreign currency,
Amrik Singh son of Parkash Singh Bundala village complained to the police that two unidentified motorcycle-borne accused waylaid him on Pasla -Rurrka Kalan road on April 24 and snatched his purse containing Rs 5000, Canadian $ 800, smartphone, and other important documents on point of sharp-edged weapons and fled away.
Investigating officer Amarik Lal said that a case under section 379-B(snatching) and 34(committing crime with common intention) of the Indian Penal Code has been registered against the unidentified accused.
This incident of looting has created a sense of fear and insecurity among residents and put a question mark on police patrolling.
